my rouses weekly ad It was a reasonable investigation; I contrasted brand name with brand name and house brand to house brand as suitable. My aggregate at WinCo was $92.02. The Safeway aggregate would have been $134.45, a distinction of $42.43 or 32%.
Safeway's costs for meats and cheeses were generally the same as those at WinCo. The greatest reserve funds came all over the place else in the store...pretty much no matter how you look at it. The normal investment funds per thing was 72 pennies. Envision sparing 72 pennies by and large for each thing you put in your truck. Indeed, even with milk and eggs, where I anticipated that Safeway would be exceptionally aggressive, there were some huge contrasts.
A couple of cases: Gallon milk at WinCo was $1.98 and $2.49 at Safeway. 18-check eggs were $1.89 at WinCo and $3.35 at Safeway. A two-pound pack of carrots was 88-pennies at WinCo and $2.00 at Safeway. Salsa was $2.73 at WinCo and $3.99 at Safeway. The rundown goes on.
